Arthritis

Arthritis is inflammation of one or more joints, causing pain and stiffness that can worsen with age. Two common forms of Arthritis are Osteoathritis, in which the collagen cushioning joints break down, and Rheumatoid Arthritis, where the immune system attacks the joints and the joint lining.

Sea moss contains antioxidant compounds that reduce pro-inflammatory cytokines, which cause arthritis. These anti-inflammatory properties help reduce swelling around the joint tissue.

What’s the Difference???

A question I get frequently is, “What’s the difference between the Gold and Purple sea moss?” Or, why is the purple and green more than the gold?” “Is the Purple better than the gold?” Etc. The Phytonutrients in sea moss give it’s color and can be indicators of the vitamins/minerals they contain.

Below is a breakdown which explains the difference, along with some similarities between the colors of our sea moss.

Gold Sea Moss

The gold moss contains phytonutrients that help with cellular communication. In most gold (or yellow) plants, they phytonutrients are anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, and can protect the brain, heart and vasculature, skin and eyes.

Purple Sea Moss

Our purple moss is more potent in antioxidants which are important in fighting free radicals. As the most phytonutrient dense, our purple moss is gathered in deeper waters and is essential to fighting cancer agents and not putting too much stress on cells. Many of our clients have testified that using our purple gel have also aided in subsiding rheumatoid arthritis pain also.

Green Sea Moss (Rare)

Green sea moss is unique in that like most green plants, it contains chlorophyll which aides in liver detoxification and increasing blood hemoglobin. This rare color is also caught in deeper parts of the sea and is potent in nutrients and taste.
